PayTel Hosted PBX
This is a fully compliant cloud software-based phone system, designed to run inside your office environment and to grow with your business. In short, it provides the missing component to solve the PCI regulatory puzzle of any business model. Taking advantage of widespread internet availability and increased SIP-based networks we’ve developed PayTel Hosted PBX to be a fully scalable and fully compliant PBX office-based phone system.
You can choose how many extensions you require, as and when your business needs them. The system essentially aims to grow with your business. PayTel Hosted PBX is a softphone-based system designed to run inside your office environment. It connects directly to your office network and thereafter to BCH’s Level 1 PCI compliant cloud-based system. You might decide on a PCI compliant cluster of extensions or take the opportunity to replace your existing office phone system. Each and every call you take or make is automatically descoped from PCI. You simply don’t have to worry about compliance.
Each PayTel Hosted PBX extension is associated with a Virtual Terminal, a web page where additional details of every individual transaction are entered. Card details entered directly by a customer are suppressed from the call. These are never recorded and are used purely to perform a transaction.

Whether you choose a queue, a multi-level call flow or a simple call connection service, our solutions will integrate with your current system.
All calls through Paytel are secure. Neither your agents nor any existing call recording equipment can access any sensitive card data. Agents collect and verify payment information using a virtual terminal, and can advise your customers on the payment status along with the payment authorisation code before proceeding to complete calls as normal. As the agent requests the caller to type the credit card detail in, these numbers are muted from the agent, whilst keeping both parties connected on the call to communicate if required.
Paytel Inbound integrates directly with your bank account to process payments before confirmation of payment is provided to your agents. After each transaction, all sensitive information processed by the system is destroyed.

PayTel can work in parallel with existing telephony infrastructure and is only invoked when a payment transaction is required. The process works seamlessly and, in the background, and at no point does the agent lose contact with the customer.
The instant a transaction is required, PayTel can brought into the call or the call could be transferred to an automated payment line to collect the relevant card details as the caller keys them into their telephone. However, the agent can monitor the progress of the caller keying-in their details and can view the last four digits of the payment card. The transactions are sent directly to the payment service provider for processing. The transaction details are available to the agent in real time.
