Paytel PBX is a fully compliant cloud-based phone system, developed to solve the PCI regulatory requirements of any sized business model.

Designed to run inside your office environment and to grow with your business, phone extensions can be up or down-scaled as and when required. Taking advantage of widespread internet availability and increased SIP-based networks, BCH has developed PayTel Hosted PBX to be a fully scalable and fully compliant PBX office-based phone system.

Our PBX connects directly to your office network and thereafter to BCH’s Level 1 PCI compliant cloud-based system. You might decide on a PCI compliant cluster of extensions or take the opportunity to replace your existing phone system. Each and every call you take or make is automatically de-scoped from PCI-DSS, meaning you don’t have to worry — our PCI compliance solutions take care of everything.

Each PBX extension is associated with a virtual terminal, a web page where details of every transaction is securely entered. Sensitive card details entered directly by your customers, are always suppressed from calls and are never recorded.

PayTel Inbound

Combining BCH’s feature rich call management system with a PCI-DSS approved live card payment application, our PCI compliance solutions deliver the optimum customer service experience. Whether you choose a queue, multi-level call flow or simple call connection service, Inbound will integrate with your existing system.

Every call is secure. Neither your agents nor any existing call recording equipment can access sensitive data. Agents collect and verify payment information using a virtual terminal and can advise customers on payment status along with payment authorisation codes, before completing a call as normal. When an agent requests a caller to key in payment card details, sensitive data is muted and invisible to the agent. Throughout the payment process both parties remain connected and are able to communicate as required.

Paytel Inbound integrates directly with your bank account to process payments before confirmation is provided to your agents. After each transaction, any sensitive data processed by the system is destroyed.

PayTel Hybrid Solutions

PayTel’s hybrid solution has been designed as an affordable and adaptable solution for organisations looking to minimise attack surface vulnerabilities and gain PCI compliance.

It can be implemented in a measured and phased way to respect and complement your current business processes, as well as your existing investment in third party equipment. No additional hardware is required.
PayTel works in parallel with any legacy telephony infrastructure and is only invoked when a payment transaction is required. The payment process works effortlessly in the background, and at no point does an agent have to lose contact with a customer.

The instant a payment is required, PayTel can be brought into the call. Alternatively, the call can be transferred to an automated payment line. In either event, when callers enter sensitive card data via their telephone keypads, the system ensures that no such data is visible or audible to an agent, neither is it recorded by any call-recording equipment. However, agents can monitor the progress of callers and wind calls up as normal. Transactions are sent directly to the payment service provider for processing and are available agents in real time.
