Winmil services are designed using an easy to use procedural computer language. Services can be developed in a text editor and then tested on a simulator prior to deployment to the live IVR system. The new system is loaded while the system is fully operational, avoiding the inconvenience of downtime. The Winmil system detects any flaws in the new service and protects the rest of the Winmil system from any potential problems.
Because Winmil is a fully featured language, it contains an inbuilt flexibility to develop a whole range of services, from the most simple to the very complex. It is seldom necessary to 'step outside' the Winmil language, but when it is required, Winmil offers unparalleled connectivity to external systems.
At BCH, we also offer a web based service design tool. This tool features a range of service templates that can be used as a starting point for a specific service requirement. The user simply chooses the most appropriate template, and then configures it using an easy to use Web interface to deliver the service required. 90% of 'real-world' applications can be deployed in this way, leaving Winmil based development to support only the most complex of requirements.
