IVR Software

At the core of a BCH IVR system sits Winmil, a high level programming language used to create the software that controls the specialist hardware and call flow of your IVR services.

The Winmil programming language has been designed to make producing an IVR service incredibly simple, whether you require 10 or 1000 lines. Winmil is incredibly efficient, dynamically loading services so that any changes take effect immediately, with no system downtime. Winmil is far more than a scripting language; it supports more than 300 functions in areas as diverse as telephony, database or web handling.

Winmil is extremely reliable, has been running since 1996 and is in use on many thousands of lines of IVR globally. Because it's used everyday on our own IVR system, you'll benefit from unprecedented levels of support from people who really know Winmil inside out.

Using the latest voice processing cards from Pika and Aculab, the systems can be configured to operate as standard IVR units using DTMF detection or speech recognition. They can then be deployed to perform as fax broadcast servers, inbound call control systems with 'record on demand' functions, or massive automated calling platforms. Integrated with SMS platforms, they can deliver mobile content, including Video, SMS Games and Ringtones. In short, systems can be provided that will cater for virtually any telephony requirement.

The systems utilise our powerful programming language, Winmil. Winmil can be used to develop diverse applications that are only limited by your imagination. Winmil allows a programmer to access the Windows API, database sources, HTTP and TCP connections, as well as providing an exceptional level of control of the telephony environment. As Web and Telephony increasingly converge, Winmil is the optimal vehicle to bridge the two worlds.
